Evaluates the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and aorta. Ordered for abdominal pain, abnormal blood tests, jaundice, or follow-up imaging. Requires fasting 4-6 hours before the exam.

Pelvic & Transvaginal Ultrasound

Pelvic ultrasound evaluates the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding structures. Transvaginal approach provides higher resolution imaging and is ordered for fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, or pelvic pain.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Real-time, dynamic imaging of tendons, muscles, and joints. Particularly useful for rotator cuff tears, tendon injuries, and guiding cortisone injections.

Breast Ultrasound

Alongside mammography to better characterise suspicious areas, evaluate palpable lumps, or assess dense breast tissue. No radiation, no preparation needed.

Thyroid & Soft Tissue Ultrasound

During Your Ultrasound

You’ll lie on an exam table while our sonographer applies water-based gel to the skin and moves a small handheld transducer across it. You’ll feel gentle pressure. Images appear on screen in real time. Exam times: abdominal 30-45 min, pelvic 30-45 min, thyroid 20-30 min, vascular Doppler 30-60 min, breast 20-30 min.

After Your Ultrasound

Gel wipes off easily. Resume normal activities immediately. Radiologist report to your physician within 24 hours, available in your patient portal.
